Standard Insurance Product Information Disclosure
Object of Insurance
Civil liability for damage caused to the life, health and/or property of third-party victims as a result of a road accident involving the insured vehicle.
Insurance Risks and Insurance Limitations
The occurrence of civil liability of the Policyholder/Person whose liability is insured for damage caused by the insured vehicle to the life, health and/or property of third-party victims as a result of a road accident involving the insured vehicle.
Insurance limitations — none.
Minimum and Maximum Insurance Sum (Liability Limit)
For property damage — up to 250,000 UAH per victim.
For life and health damage — up to 500,000 UAH per victim.
If the total amount of losses in one insurance event exceeds five times the insurance sum, the compensation for each victim is proportionally reduced.
Minimum and Maximum Insurance Premium and/or Rate
The minimum and maximum insurance payment amounts are set by the insurance company and depend on the type of vehicle, its engine displacement, cargo capacity (for trucks), the city where the vehicle owner is registered, etc.

Territory and Term of the Insurance Contract (Including Information on the Effective Date and Insurance Period(s))
Territory of coverage — Ukraine (except for the territory of active hostilities and territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation, as defined by the Order of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories No. 309 of December 22, 2022, or any amendments thereto, as well as within 50 km of such territories), war zones, civil unrest zones, and territories with special access restrictions.
The contract is concluded for 6 months or 1 year for vehicles permanently registered in Ukraine, for a period of 15 days to 7 months for vehicles temporarily registered in Ukraine or permanently registered outside Ukraine.
The contract takes effect from the date specified in the contract, but not earlier than the receipt of the insurance payment to the insurer's current account.
Extension of the contract term is not possible.
Possible Consequences for the Consumer in Case of Failure to Fulfill Obligations Under the Insurance Contract, Including Untimely Notification of an Insurance Event and Untimely Payment of the Insurance Premium

a) Information about the insured vehicle (type, make, model, registration number, year of manufacture, VIN, engine displacement, power for electric vehicles, gross weight, curb weight, number of seats including driver, indication that the vehicle is registered in Ukraine);
b) Information about the Policyholder (last name, first name, patronymic (if available), name of the Policyholder, date of birth, TIN (or passport series and number in its absence — for individuals), USREOU code, identity document of the Policyholder — individual, place of residence/location, type of Policyholder, indication that the Policyholder is a Ukraine resident, phone number and email address, information on the Policyholder's entitlements to privileges provided by legislation, with the document confirming such right provided upon request);
c) Additional information material to the assessment of insurance risk:
- intended use of the insured vehicle, whether it may be used for paid passenger and/or cargo transportation services;
- place of registration (residence) of the owner of the insured vehicle (individual) or legal address of the legal entity per the vehicle registration document;
- age of persons who may drive the insured vehicle;
- year of birth of the individual who owns the insured vehicle;
- odometer reading at the date of conclusion of the Contract;
- maximum mileage of the insured vehicle during the Contract term.
d) Desired term of the insurance contract and desired start date of insurance coverage;
e) Loss history with information about road accidents involving the insured vehicle over the past three years;
f) Information about existing compulsory civil liability insurance contracts concluded for the insured vehicle with other insurers;
g) Total number of vehicles to be insured simultaneously (for corporate vehicle fleets).
Procedure for Concluding and Paying for the Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance Contract for Motor Vehicle Owners
The insurance contract is concluded by adhering to the General Conditions of the insurance product "Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Motor Vehicle Owners".
The insurance contract consists of the public part — the General Conditions, and the individual part — the policy, the form of which is approved by the Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau (MTSBU).
The insurance contract takes effect from the date and time of the start of its term as specified in the contract, but not earlier than the date and time of making a record about such contract in the Unified Centralized Database (UCDB).
The insurance premium is paid in full before or at the time of conclusion of the insurance contract.
Upon full payment of the insurance premium, the insurer is obliged to make a record about the insurance contract in the UCDB in the manner established by MTSBU before or at the time of its conclusion.
If the insurance premium is not paid within the set deadline or is paid in an incomplete amount, no record about the insurance contract is made in the UCDB.

To obtain information on the fact of making a record about the compulsory civil liability insurance contract for motor vehicle owners in the Unified Centralized Database, perform one of the following:
- visit the MTSBU website https://policy.mtsbu.ua/ and enter the policy number;
- follow the direct link received in the SMS/notification message after conclusion;
- follow the direct link or QR code in the policy.
List of Categories of Individuals Entitled to a Reduction in Insurance Premium (Under the Domestic Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance Contract for Motor Vehicle Owners)
- citizen of Ukraine — combat veteran;
- victim participant of the Revolution of Dignity;
- war participant;
- person with disability of group I or II;
- person affected by the Chornobyl disaster, classified as category I or II;
- pensioner
Information on the Validity of the Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance Contract for Motor Vehicle Owners in Case of Change of the Insured Vehicle's Owner
In the event of a change of owner of the insured vehicle as a result of its lawful alienation, the OSAGO contract remains valid until the expiry of its term, and the rights and obligations of the policyholder transfer to the new owner of the specified vehicle.
In the event of the death of the policyholder — an individual, their rights and obligations under the OSAGO contract transfer to the person who inherits the vehicle specified in such contract and/or who, in cases provided by the Civil Code of Ukraine, is considered to have accepted the inheritance.
The right to receive part of the insurance premium upon early termination of the insurance contract in connection with the death of the policyholder — individual transfers to the person who inherits the vehicle specified in such contract.
In the event of a change of owner of the insured vehicle, the new owner is obliged to notify the insurer in writing within 15 calendar days from the date of acquiring ownership of the vehicle and provide the insurer with their personal data.

The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine is the only association of insurers carrying out compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners for damage caused to third parties.
Membership of insurers in MTSBU is a mandatory condition for carrying out activities related to compulsory civil liability insurance of motor vehicle owners.
MTSBU is a non-profit organization and carries out its activities in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Motor Vehicle Owners", Ukrainian legislation and its Charter.

Procedure for the Consumer to Obtain Insurance Payment Under Direct Settlement (Under the Domestic Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance Contract for Motor Vehicle Owners)
In the event of a road accident involving only two insured vehicles, or only two vehicles of which the insured vehicle is the one owned by the victim, and in which the victim suffered damage exclusively in the form of damage or physical destruction of such vehicle, the victim has the right to direct settlement of the insurance event.
Direct settlement of the insurance event involves the victim's insurer performing the rights and obligations of the at-fault party's insurer as defined by the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory Civil Liability Insurance of Motor Vehicle Owners" of May 21, 2024 No. 3720-IX regarding reviewing the insurance payment application, making a decision on the results of such review, and making the insurance payment if a corresponding decision is made.
A victim who has exercised the right to direct settlement and applied to their own insurer for insurance payment loses the right to apply to the at-fault party's insurer for insurance payment.
A victim who has not exercised the right to direct settlement and applied to the at-fault party's insurer for insurance payment loses the right to apply to their own insurer for insurance payment.
In the event of any other road accident than described above, the application for insurance payment is submitted exclusively to the at-fault party's insurer, or in cases provided by Article 43 of the Law, to MTSBU.
